Online Therapy

Online therapy is becoming increasingly popular and with the spread of COVID-19, it is currently our primary means of delivering therapy and counselling to our clients. While the thought of communicating through video conference or phone might initially elicit some apprehension, it’s important to know that this form of therapy is just as effective as the sessions we hold in-person.

As with face-to-face appointments, we will meet by scheduling an initial consultation so you can get a feel for how we work. You can then decide if you would like to continue with more appointments. We have found that Skype, Zoom & FaceTime all work well for therapy and we welcome phone consultations as well.

I initially felt hesitant to do online video therapy as I thought it would feel forced and awkward. Within 5 minutes of giving it a go I felt back in the flow of my usual session. I’m so relieved my weekly appointment is one thing that hasn’t be disrupted by being in quarantine!
I needed to find a therapist that I could trust would be open minded about me and my life but I couldn’t find anyone near me so I had to consider doing counselling remotely. It’s been so important for me to find the right person who understands me so it’s been invaluable.”

”I was wary of having Skype sessions to begin with but it’s actually been great. It’s easy to just pop on and have sessions when I need them. I have a hectic schedule and this makes it so much easier to have some me-time.
